Dr. Phillip Williams was born in Denver, Colorado in the U.S. He attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. He later graduated from Colorado College with a Master of Arts in Teaching. Dr. Williams also completed a Doctorate in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. He currently holds a K-6 Colorado teaching license. Dr. Williams has over eighteen years of education experience where he has devoted ten years as a classroom teacher. He has also worked as an assessment specialist and a district assessment and data coordinator over seeing data analysis and assessment programs for multi-district online schools. Dr. Williams served as Dean of Instruction and Assessment for a charter school of the arts in Colorado Springs. This is his first year working at ISW as the elementary principal. Dr. Williams' favorite part of ISW is being able to work with a wonderful staff and seeing the students grow academically.
